Comunale archeological museum is in the centre, in the Palazzo Galvani along the Piazza Maggiore and the church of San Petronio. It was first built in the 15th century, followed by changes and remodelling until 1881, when it opened to the public as the Museum. The museum is accessible by buses that go from the Piazza Maggiore.
