Museum of Human Anatomy

Founded in 1739 the Museum of Human Anatomy gives us the chance to see local pieces from the 19th century, such as collections of historic and scientific interest. In environments that were generally characterized by monumental architecture, as well as anatomical preparations and instruments that are flanked by models in wax, papier mache, wood and ivory, oil paintings and marble busts, you can see the evidence of the close relationship between art and science that has marked the tradition of the study of anatomy.
