Narmadas River

A chilly dip in a river in central India in the month of May, is more than a gift from the gods. I was surprised that the city of Jabalpur was so ugly. I could never have imagined that I would enjoy myself so much for the eight days I stayed there. One of the best places is definitely the river. It's an hour by bus from the city. A lot of people come here. There is a lot of Hindu tourism and the Europeans come here to bake in the heat. There is a waterfall called Dhuandar, which is famous for its violent stream. It's where locals will jump off for a bunch of rupees, even though it seems extremely dangerous.
