    The owner is the chief of a nearby village

    The Oarsman is a resort managed 100% by Fijians, in fact the owner is the chief of a nearby village and that employs the most people, along with the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, which is located next door. Prices are similar to Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, but the latter newer and therefore better.
