The Grand Hotel is located in Nadi, Fiji, five kilometers from the center of the city and from Denarau. The Hotel has a 24-hour reception desk and offers transportation to the airport. There is breakfast available for an additional charge and the rooms have satellite TV, direct telephone and coffee and tea facilities.
It is perhaps the most famous resort in the Yasawas, which was opened 15 years ago by an Austrian couple who fell in love with the islands. It has expanded over the years and now is perhaps a little big, but has impeccable facilities, a swimming pool that is also used for diving courses, and plenty of sunbeds and hammocks scattered along the beach. The food is excellent and there are 10 beds in the dormitorios.
This property is the sister resort of Horizon, with even better facilities because it's on the beach and has a large terrace, hammocks and a pretty good restaurant. The rooms have air conditioning, but lots of beds, about 24 if I remember correctly.
It is the sister resort of Horizon, though it has much better facilities, since it is right on the beach and has a large terrace, hammocks and a pretty good restaurant. The bedroom has air conditioning but many beds, about 24 if I remember correctly.
It's my favorite resort. The owner is Australian, but they employ over 45 local people and are very grateful, so when visiting the village you are received with a big party with dancing and singing. The resort opened in late 2009 and is very good, with a beautiful beach and situated close to the Blue Lagoon, where they filmed the movie The Blue Lagoon with Brooke Shield a few years ago.
The Horizon Backpackers Resort is (thankfully) a very unpretentious resort that's close to Nadi airport and that offers free shuttle from the airport to the resort, making it a very convenient place for the first or last night in Fiji. The amenities are fairly basic, but at least it's fresh, facilities are pretty basic, with a small pool, but they let you use the facilities of the resort next door, the smugglers cove, which is on the edge of the beach with a good bar and restaurant.
The Nabua Lodge is a small, family resort with pretty basic facilities, but they compensate with an absolutely fantastic deal, they make you feel like family. The manager, Lulu, is very nice, and on Sunday took us to see a mass in Fiji, which is a show in itself, with dancing and singing, and then to his village, where he showed us his newlywed house since we was just married.
The Oarsman is a resort managed 100% by Fijians, in fact the owner is the chief of a nearby village and that employs the most people, along with the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, which is located next door. Prices are similar to Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, but the latter newer and therefore better.
A small family resort, but only 20 minutes walk along the beach or trail away from the beach from the famous Blue Lagoon, where you can snorkel among thousands of fish and corals. The owner, Terry, is a great showwoman, who tells you a thousand stories and is an expert at card tricks.
This is a very well-known resort since it's next to the famous Blue Lagoon. It's well designed and first class, with cabins at different heights of the hill on which they are based, which are almost invisible from the sea. It has a dive center to the top of the Yasawas
It is a little bit isolated in a small bay that empties at low tide and prevents you from swimming without having to walk more than a hundred meters. Also they charge for boats, which few resorts do. The site is original, with the restaurant next to the beach, and accommodation on a small hill with fabulous views over the bay and the island. The food is pretty poor and unoriginal, and they put the same for lunch and dinner, rice with sausage
Although it's on the same island as the Bay of Plenty, it's located on a beautiful beach perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The resort is quite nice and the staff is very friendly, and they offer daily excursions to the Blue Lagoon and other points of interest.
Siairo and Eta are the owners of this resort, which has become well-known for its family atmosphere, but the rooms leave much to be desired, it has 32 beds in 16 berths, and the people in the bottom bunks never receive breeze from the fans so it can be very hot. On the other hand you can eat well and the beach is very nice. They have excursions to the nearby town and diving with sharks and manta rays
As its name suggests, the Manta Ray resort is famous because the manta ray, which can reach up to 4 meters in length and navigate the shallow channel between the 2 islands, making it one of the best places to see them. It is a resort with 2 beaches, both east and west, and as a result of water shortage on the island, has a water treatment plant and waterless composting toilets. The restaurant is on the highest part of the hill where guests can enjoy some amazing views. The bedroom is kind of weird, made of cement cubicles with 4 beds with mosquito nets, which are a bit small and unfit and claustrophobic.
Kuata could be Stevenson's Treasure Island, as it has many caves and giant rocks of strange shapes which, with a little imagination could transform into Skull Island. The resort is basic but the family who manages it is lovely, and from the beach you can see the sunrise and sunset.
Located off the west coast of Viti Levu, about an hour away from Nadi Airport by boat or 8 minutes by helicopter or seaplane. Treasure Island is set in the middle of a marine reserve and covered by lush tropical gardens. Guests can relax on the white sand beaches, the pool or enjoy activities the hotel offers.

Facilities include tennis courts, volleyball and indoor games among other facilities. It also has superior rooms and suites that are fully equipped, including luxury amenities of the place.
The Travellers Beach Resort is a relaxing option if you don't want to be in town. This resort chain has several locations, and this location is one of the most pleasant, with a restaurant on the beach.
Located three kilometres from the airport and downtown, Nomads Skylodge is four kilometres from Denarau Marina. It offers a fully equipped conference room for meetings and various functions. It also offers laundry, wake ups, limited room service, and a safe in reception. There are three on-site restaurants. The Savu Bar with a waterfall inside offers music and a big screen TV. The elegant rooms are equipped with TV, clock radios, coffee makers, desks, hair dryer, internet, iron and ironing boards, and fridges.
