Palpa Address

4 reviews of Palpa

A beautiful area of Peru

Palpa is a province in the Department of Ica. It is located four hundred kilometers south of Lima, capital of Peru, and forty-eight kilometers north of Nasca.

It is a warm province (there is sun every day of the year), its people are simple, friendly, and you and can breathe fresh air and tranquility. It possesses a wealth of tourist attractions that are still covered by a shroud of mystery despite years of research that have been conducted: Lines and geoglyphs dating back to Paracas, or older than the now-famous Nasca lines. And what is really important is that several of them can be seen without having to fly overhead, ie, reaching natural viewpoints or metal towers. There are also lots of really enigmatic petroglyph figures that date back over two thousand years. There are also many ruins of pre-Inca citadels.
