Small island

The island of Patmos is very small and belongs to the Dodecanese Islands in the Aegean Sea. In general it is very common that tourists going to Greece will stay there, but the majority of cruise ships and other vessels call there to supply themselves with everything necessary to continue the journey. Its small port called port of Scala, has water is deep enough for cruise ships to dock large ships. In the centre of the island, Chora area, there is located the Byzantine Monastery of St. John the Divine, built in 1088 and the Cave of the Apocalypse, where the Bible says that San Juan had the Revelations
