Patron Feasts

The festivities of Jarabacoa are held on July 16 in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, and this is counted as a non-working day for the municipality. On this day, the city's inhabitants and visitors come out to the street in order to enjoy the tons and tons of different activities, which always begin several days before. These events include religious cults, cultural events and other measures. The community dresses up and prepares to receive the parishioners who live in remote communities of the municipality, to many residents who live in other cities and even outside the Paias. The council in conjunction with organizations, local church volunteers are responsible for creating over recreational activities appropriate day for the whole family, most of them are held alrdedor the city park.
