This little hole-in-the-wall across from Belen's busy train tracks has some of the area's best New Mexican cuisine. While their meats, enchiladas, and other dishes are also delicious, it's their green chile that's the real deal.
Their green chile is roasted from fresh peppers and then simmered with pork and other spices to make a topping that goes well on everything. I particularly enjoy and recommend the chile relleno or stuffed sopapillas or Saturday's special chilaquiles.
Their red chile, also very good, is very spicy and tends to smother the food that they cover with it. I'd recommend getting it on the side if you don't like hot flavors!
