Porto Alegre is a city with a variety of restaurants. Given the large number of Italians in the area, pizzerias and pasta restaurants are very popular in the area, and are really delicious. This is a great place to enjoy a pizza, founded in 2001, and located on Avenida Lavras, near the Plaza Encol. The name of the pizzeria is a tribute to the owner's grandfather (the owner is the son of Italian immigrants). The place is spacious and bright, and has recently been renovated. They serve pizzas and a variety of sweets, as well as calzones and pasta dishes; there's also a salad buffet. It is open everyday from 7pm.
