Plaza FishMarket

Fischmarkt Square is at the foot of the lake in Rapperswil, and has numerous hotels and restaurants. It's a large medieval square with a stone floor where the fish market used to be held. It's most striking feature is a rather modern-style fountain with jets that leave the ground. The square is surrounded by cobbled streets and a small lake allows the swans and ducks to find bread crumbs offered by the tourists.
