Portree Cemetery

One of the most evocative places in Portree, Skye Island, is the small cemetery, set in a lonely corner with spectacular views over Portree Bay. Ancient tombstones are tilted by the constant wind and worn by the eternal drizzle, they create a splash against the bright green grass. The place is magical, the silence and stillness wander among beautiful trees.
