The Muslim quarter of Xian is characterized, above all, by its cultural mix. This is not only reflected in society, people's clothes, their religion or their buildings, but also in their gastronomy. Walking through there, you will see many food stalls and restaurants, but few tourists venture in, because among other things, the people only speak Mandarin and people are wary of the health standards of food sold in the street. I could not resist the temptation to go into one, taking advantage of going with someone from the place and the truth is that for less than 3 euros we had a beer and ate meat seasoned with various sauces and spices, as if they were kebabs.
