Robert Tatin Museum

After traveling around the world with his work, the sculptor and painter Robert Tatin decided to return home, to Mayenne, and create his own museum. The Robert Tatin Museum has truly original pieces that remind the world of the French genius. The artist conceived a surreal world full of magic and genuine figures in the heart of Pays de la Loire. And to my surprise when I visited it, his work is set out in what is called the Avenue of the Giants. After a passage of almost 100 meters, a line of 19 allegorical works retrace the career of Tatin. While visiting the museum, you become aware that these works can only belong to an artist who created himself and who founded the origins of a new type of art, fully abstract yet symbolically linked to reality.
