    Classic decor

    This old hotel eighteenth century is an institution in the village of Lynmouth. It was created at the time of tourist expansion when most people had no vacation, and mainly rich people came to enjoy the coast and the beach. The Rock House is next to the River Lyn, just before it flows into the sea. The harbourside restaurant has tables for dining outside on summer days, and part of the AA car club. Even if the weather is nice there are good views from inside the restaurant, on the Dorset coast. Prices start at 45 pounds a night for a single room, 93 double, and up to 110 for the family. Prices include breakfast.
