3 reviews of Saint Ives

Popular summer resort in Cornwall

St Ives is one of the most popular summer resorts in Cornwall so is always bustling with tourists. For decades, it's been a place of inspiration for many artists. The center is a succession of elegant shops, art galleries, attractive pubs, churches and flower-filled balconies along narrow, cobbled streets. Saint Ives overlooks three beautiful bays including Porthminster which is quite unique with its Victorian buildings in the background. From the cape of the island you can enjoy a wonderful view of the infinite beach of Porthmeor.

Quaint Cornish Fishing Village

Great seaside town, too many quaint bakeries to choose from and plenty of Cornish ice cream. The small harbor beach is really nice and great place to relax on a sunny day.

Discovering Cornwall's beauty

Cornwall is known for its light and atmosphere. St. Ives, the little town in the photo, was and still is shelter for artists from all over the world. When I saw the light there, I knew why.
