A nice pub
Finding a traditional pub in Whitstable is not an easy task. High Street is full of shops and other boutiques, supermarkets and snacks, but the English pubs are not very numerous. Free Ship Centurion House was voted Pub of the Year in 2007. It offers a wide range of local beers (delicious!), as well as dishes. We recommend the primarily flat "lunch special", such as a salad or omelette, fried fish & chips version of shrimp, or something to eat quickly and inexpensively (6 pounds).
