Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows

The Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows, as its name suggests, is a permanent collection of stained glass windows that can be found at Navy Pier in Chicago. I have to admit that I wasn't particularly excited about visiting it, but in the end, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

The space, which is freely accessible, occupies a good portion of the ground floor of Navy Pier. If you're not familiar with the area, you should know that Navy Pier has a mixture of different styles and is full of restaurants and other attractions. However, some parts can seem a bit tacky or kitschy, so this museum is a real haven of peace if you're feeling overwhelmed by it all.
