Changing landscape

Sweden is a quiet town located at 32 km. from Valencia. It's the capital of the region of Ribera Baixa, and a lot of it's territory is in the Albufera natural park. Rice cultivation offers travelers a landscape that changes with the time of year. There are also many oranges grown in the area, and has great sandy beaches. La Iglesia parroquial de San Pedro, built in 1721, is neoclassical and was declared a Historical Artistic Monument in 1992. The town hall, also neoclassical, was built during the reign of Carlos III. It has a grand marble staircase, and a colorful modernist dome. The Porxets, is a gallery with nine arches that are occupied by bars as a place to have a coffee or a soda, but were previously places to sell meat products to the town.
