Sunset at Guaíba

The sunset over Guiaiba is probably the most beautiful image that you can see in Porto Alegre. It is a point of pride for the locals, as this is often considered to be the most beautiful sunset in Brazil. The Guaba is actually not a river, but a river delta; the name comes from the language of the Indians who lived here, meaning "deep swamp".
