Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu

This temple Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu is in the west of Mae Hong Son, close to the border with Burma, on a hill. It has 2 small white pagodas with gold accents, and a gold leaf tree where they hang wishes. The temple is impressive for its whiteness and neatness, the monks care to detail and it is repainted often. The view of the city from the top of the hill is also impressive. Many tours in Tailanda do not include this place, because you have to catch another plane and is far but it is worth the visit.
