The Garden of the Birds

One of the attractions of this city in green and red, is the famous Bird Garden in the middle of an extraordinary, prodigious and overwhelming nature where we can find a number of birds in northeastern Argentina, unique in the whole province, ¡ in over 70 different species that can be seen and admired. The story of this garden comes from the inclination of a girl named Frida Wendlinger who healed and fed the birds. Years passed, the girl became a woman and famous for the reputation she acquired this place with responsibility. As the birds reproduced freely, the founder of the place donated birds care and the Municipality ceded an area of safekeeping under his direct supervision.
