Hearty breakfasts and delicious lunches
The Paperback Cafe in downtown Old Saybrook, Connecticut, serves hearty breakfasts and delicious lunches. I've been numerous times and have previously enjoyed their french toast. During my most recent visit I ordered an egg scramble with tomatoes, meat, mozzarella, and basil but unfortunately found it to be a bit lacking in the flavor department. The service is quick and the staff are friendly though, so perhaps what I ordered just wasn't the best on the menu. The Paperback Cafe has ample indoor and outdoor seating and as the name suggests they have a wall full of books for you to peruse.
