The Restores Square
This Square is one of the busiest in the city. The monument that dominates the square was built in honor of the War of Restoration, with Portugal's independence from Spain. This obelisk is at the center of the square and was made with bronze figures representing freedom. They also recorded the dates of the battles that took place during the war.
