The Road of the Seven Lakes

The Road of the Seven Lakes is the road between Bariloche and Villa la Angostura, and it's only closed during heavy snowfall in the winter. It's a wonderful and magical place that seems to awaken from a long sleep hidden under the snow, the flowers exploding into multiple colors and different shades of green. The road, which is about 184 kilometers long, is fully paved, except for some 50 kilometers of it that's still gravel. The tour is really amazing and you won't be able to stop looking at it all. The waterfalls, rocks, trees, lakes, it really is something worth seeing. The Tourist Information and Civic Center is open daily from 9 a.m.
