An intense, emotional experience
Located in the heart of the Garden District, at 928 Felicity Street, the Sixth Baptist Church is a church that doesn't look too exciting (although we loved the pretty red brick facade). But the best thing about it is the gospel mass every Sunday morning (the service begins at 10 am, and unfortunately no pictures are allowed inside). It's an intense emotional experience to see all the locals praising and singing together.
