Thermal Baths of Aguas Calientes

This spa uses water from the hot springs to heat and medicate aching bodies. They are about 800 m. from the square, and along the Avenida De acede Pachacuteq (Restaurant Row). At the end of this we find the "entrance", where you will be given a towel and flip flops. You have to cross a bridge over the river, and up a steep hill, at the end of which are the hot springs. In a mountain gorge, over the course of a loud river, surrounded by spectacular scenery, there are some outdoor pools, with different temperatures and water properties. They are topped with perfectly conditioned facilities: Pub, full costumes and a bar in the pools.
