Carretera Trasandina

The road is the oldest in Venezuela that crosses the Andes. It stretches over 1,529 kilometers starting from Caracas to the town of San Antonio del Tachira on the border with Colombia. There is much to see along the way: Monument to the Virgin, Monumento al Perro Nevado, mountain villages and above all, it has incredible views. The highest point is its Eagle Peak at 4,100 meters high.
