Trevas Chapel

The 4th chapel on Via Sacraon, the ascent of Mount Espinho to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus. It's a small, hexagonal chapel built of brick and stone, with an inscription on the gateway that's a quote from the Gospel of Matthew. Inside you'll find the likes of Jesus as a prisoner, sitting on a rock, blindfolded and his clothes torn. The inner walls have paintings, although in poor condition.
