Village of Shepherds

I just ordered a pair of leather boots, tailored according to the design you want, for 35 euros! all that in Pastores, a village you go to to buy leather goods. It is the town speciality! To get there: from the old bus terminal, take a local bus to Shepherds, it costs 2.5 quetzals (about 25c euros). The bus leave from Antigua, crossing Jocotenango village and a short time later you arrive at pastors. The main street is lined with shops and shoe stores where predominantly leather boots are made and sold. To appear pure cow-boy this is the right place, for about 30 euros take a couple of cowboy boots.
