Villanueva de Algaidas Lookout

A few minutes from the entrance to Villanueva de Algaidas there is a lovely viewpoint, from which you can see views of the surrounding area, including the two mountain ranges, the Sierra de Arcas, to the south west, and the Sierra de Pedroso, to the southeast. It is also interesting to look at the terrain where olive trees comprise almost 90% of cultivated land. This is why the town is the best known place for olive production in the province of Malaga. Likewise, you can also see land growing wheat, barley, chickpeas, beans and sunflowers.
