Virgen del Pesebre Crypt

Have you ever gone to a place and had the sense that mother nature took over you?. That's the feeling you get when you go to the Crypt of the Virgin. It is a unique place of the Abbey of St Michel de Cuxa. A crypt that is vaulted and by a single stone column. The stone and light and create a balanced space. A feeling that you have been swallowed by the bowels of Mother Earth, and you stay still, enjoying the peace, its serenity hides. In front of the crypt is an ancient underground walkway for pilgrims. It is made up of three naves of four sections with side chapels dedicated to some saint. The architect Puig rediscovered this place.
