Visegrad is a historic town on the Drina River. The city was home to the famous Yugoslav writer and Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andric. It is located beside the famous bridge on the Drina River built by Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic, the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire who was from Serbia.
