Located in the heart of the Italian district of San Francisco, on the beautiful North Beach Hill, Washington Square is a landmark that is worth visiting when you're in the area. In 1979, a time capsule was buried here, containing Levi's jeans, a bottle of wine, and a poem ... it will stay buried here until 2079! A crazy initiative in this lovely little park.
