It's a vegeterian restaurant and the food is very healthy, natural, simple and tasty. The ingredients used are top-quality and they serve freshly-baked bread prepared on-site every day. The menu has tempting offerings like grilled eggplant with roquefort cheese, brown rice and wok-sauteed vegetables, or homemade wholegrain pasta. The desserts are also well worth trying, and the whole meal is accompanied by flavored waters or select wines. The service is great and the soundtrack in the restaurant is really nice. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on Saturdays. It's open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Payment: Cash. All credit and debit cards accepted.
Well, you should not expect frills nor a fully equipped dining room. However, the place does go beyond your expectations. They have very good pizzas, deliciously smooth draft beer, and some quite interesting snacks. Totally recommended. I swear, and of this I am not mistaken, they do the best ham and cheese pasties in the world here. I have tried them in many places, but these are by far the best ....
On Saturday night, at the end of two weeks of festivities, a couple of friends and I went to have some roast lamb or goat. One of them smokes, so we took a table outside, and luckily, the weather was good. We had our meat with a salad that had just about everything you could ask for ... lettuce, tomato, rocket, radishes, peppers, watercress, boiled eggs, grated carrot, and onion. The only thing it was lacking were potatoes. We had Santa Julia Cabernet Sauvignon, water, and dessert (ice creams and a bonbon). The restaurant is decorated with images of horses, and in a corner, you can see an old jar of milk which used to be used on farms not too long ago. The executive menu, with different options, is served Monday through Friday at noon. We paid 8.65 each (including a tip), and they accept credit cards. They have spaces for special events, wifi, and a TV where you can watch big football matches.
After visiting the exhibition of Flavia Ceravolo in the entrance hall of this anything but classic or tasteless restaurant, we agreed on the multicolored elevator, crossed the living room filled with tables and chairs of various colors, the salamander, fireplace and small winery, headed to the terrace looking out over the river and had a seat there under an umbrella. The bright sunny day, the amazing place, made me so enthusiastic to photograph everything that I only took a photo of the fried calamari dish and completely forgot the empanadas, grilled vogue with fries and the dessert plate with tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and cheese cake, all of which were picture perfect. I'm from Piura, Peru, and in 1981 I visited Rosario thanks to an invitation from my grandmother, Benefrida, and my unce and auntie, Juan and Chiquita ve live in this beautiful city. We ate several times in La Parrillita de Don Alberto, which at that time was called La Parrilla Norte. Their food is delicious, their attention is most personalized, not to mention the desserts that seem homemade.
