We found The Dirty Onion while walking through Belfast. At first, we thought it was a building under construction, but we went for a look and found a terrace with long sturdy wooden tables. We were thankful it wasn't raining, because it must be very comfortable on sunny days. But as we were starving, we entered the Yardbird, which is the restaurant they have at the top. As you can guess from the name, you eat chicken here. You can watch how they make it, and cut it when it leaves the grill. It's very good, and they even have two sauces that I highly recommend. The restaurant is ranch dècor, as the plates are like the old white tin with blue trim. They take great care to detail and customer care, don't take long to serve, because they always have chicken on the grill. Unfortunately, there aren't great alternatives to meat: potatoes and salad, but they have sides, so perhaps this is not the right place if you're vegetarian. Despite that, the place is great and I'll return for sure.
Spur Steak & Grill is a Tex-Mex restaurant in downtown Belfast that specializes in grilled meat, ribs, and steaks. The steaks are something to experience! They don't serve alcohol but the refills are free. Don't miss it!
I went last night to have dinner here, and it was amazing! I ordered duck breast, delicious! Along with the rest of the ingredients like the carrot purée, and an extra of steamed rice, I made a good choice. My friends ordered the Brickwork burger, I got to taste it and the meat was mouth-watering! I really recommend this place, it’s not very expensive and of course the treatment is lovely! Haha.
I did a 3-week internship here and I think it’s a really good place to have breakfast or lunch (starts at 12am).
The service it’s great, always making sure you have everything you ordered and food is delicious. Their Irish breakfast is lovely, along with a cup of tea or some coffee. Price’s great, and you can even have some vegan stuff!
Totally recommeded this place where you can bring your kids there as well since they’re right by the playground.
