Amazing pizza!! There was a long queue for a table so I took a "take-out" and ate sitting on stairs near a market enjoying. Definitely the best pizza I've ever had. I give thanks for the recommendation. God I have wanted to return to this pizzeria, definitely the best pizza I've ever eaten. We found out about it through this app and got a ticket for a table number, but we had 24 numbers before, so we decided to ask for take-out had only 1 Italian before us, we ate sitting on stairs near there buying a coke from a bars that are all over the city. Amazing pizza!!
The Gran Caffe Gambrinus in Naples is located on Via Chiaia 1 near the Plaza del Plebiscito. It is one of the iconic cafes of old Europe where intellectuals of all kinds gathered: poets, writers, philosophers, politicians, etc.. It's relaxing to sit at one of their tables and sip a caffe lungo sfogliatella calda a specialty of the house. The sfogliatella is fairly large, made of layers of flaky pastry dough, and filled with custard. It is an absolute delight. Here in Buenos Aires there is a place on Corrientes street that makes some delicious ones but they are not served hot. The Gambrinus is one of the main streets of Naples, so surely pass by on your way down. Please be sure to sit and enjoy something or at least take a short walk inside ... The staff are not going to be offended if you do not eat anything. They are very, very friendly.
I was there. It´s very good but don´t expect the typical Italian restaurant. They say it is the best pizzeria in the world and the service wasn´t bad and you can choose from 4 or 5 types of pizza and beer or soda to drink. I loved it. Just in front there is another one that is also good called Da Miquele.
The girl at the desk recommended this place and really seeing how touristy Sorrento is and having come in August it was a great decision. You are left very satisfied with this Italian cuisine. As I was so tired of pizza I ordered the giornno plate that was tagliatelle with crab, so good and cheap. A little bland maybe but it must be the Spanish palette.
This pizza restaurant is a favourite among locals, and is excellent value for money. The buffalo pizza is a gem, with a cold accompanied Nastro Azzurra, the perfect combination. The pasta is also great, without being aldente, just to my liking.
When you arrive in southern Italy you look for the typical rustic and authentic village you have seen in the movies. For fate, I didn´t find one, but I did find its essence in this piazza of the beautiful old fishing village of Salerno. A source of fresh water welcomes us to the city then take us to a local place with tables in the terrace that offered things ... from popular cuoppos, cones with little fish, prawns or squid battered and fried ... as well as delicious paninis of salsiccia (Catalan sausage) with grilled vegetables. All very good, cheap and in a cool, friendly and safe place.
The restaurant bettola is situated near to the train station of Pompeii and also near the square. The decor and service are very attentive and the food is excellent and with a very good price. For a starter I ordered a prosciutto with mozzarella risotto followed by a delicious risotto.
This restaurant is located in Pozzuoli, right on Lake Lucrino. It's a fine, stylish restaurant with a modern, romantic atmosphere. There's a nice terrace overlooking the lake. I was lucky enough to dine there on a warm October afternoon, and it was a wonderful experience. It's best-known for its fresh fish, but the restaurant also serves meat dishes. The fish is always fresh and of good quality; the bar has a large aquarium with seafood. Sometimes you can select the fish you want directly from the tanks. The menu offers a wide variety of creative dishes. I recommend the grilled squid - the taste is incomparable. The desserts are great too, especially the delicious strawberry pie. It's a fancy place, so prices aren't low, but it's worth it for the experience!
Walking through the old town of Naples, between churches and small chapels is this shy and small traditional Naples pizzeria. It has a few tables on the street but if it´s summer it´s better to get a table inside. There are more than 20 types of pizzas that are big, flavourful and cheap and with a fast service and very nice. I am attaching a photo of the pizza of the house with prosciutto and rucula. So good.
Where can you go for the best pizzas in Naples? To the centre, of course! Not far from the Piazza San Domenico Maggiore Via Nile is the Pizzeria dell Angello. The restaurant has two levels, and they also put some tables outside in the summer months. The pizza menu is varied, and delicious. You can enjoy classic pizzas or stuffed crust, filled with cream cheese, ham, or ricotta. With each pizza you get a stamp, and if you collect ten, you can enjoy a free margarita!
An authentic Italian luxury. The elderly manager welcomed us from the street and treated us with great kindness throughout the meal. Whatever pasta dish you order, you won't be disappointed. They also offer great fish. Across the wall, there are pictures of huge football stars: from Ronaldo to Marcelo Lippi, all the best footballers have been here.
The sfogliatelle are delicious, but here there really is a lot of choice because each one has a different filling. Try the ricotta cheese and pear, you'll want to try the limoncello, or perhaps the nut or almond one. If you arrive at lunchtime, there are also savory sfogliatelle, again with all kinds of fillings.
This pizzeria is located in Via Tribunalle - a better location would be impossible! You can't reserve a table in advance - just get there, put your name on the list, and wait to be called. It serves nothing but pizza, which is very cheap and delicious. They are huge: we ordered two pizzas for three of us, one with gorgonzola and the other with mushrooms. Delicious! It's nothing fancy, with wooden tables and plastic glasses, but it's great. Two pizzas and three drinks for 22.50 euros.
It's easy to get lost among the madness of the downtown historic streets of Naples. After asking for help, we came to this small street with the plain-looking Taverna del Buongustaio. We had to wait a short time for a free table. The decor is simple, but the atmosphere is jovial and lively. The friendly waiter recited the daily specials, but we could barely remember them. The food was so tasty, though ... pasta and potatoes, smoked cheese, spaghetti with clams, gnocchi, sausages and broccoli, braised octopus, fried fish ... amazing, and for decent prices. For experiencing the rich flavours of Naples - worth going!
Firstly, in Borgo Marinaro it is not easy to find a good place to eat without spending a fortune. The square of this restaurant - pizzeria is an interesting alternative, with a good quality / price ratio. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of fish. It is always very busy, but even if you have not booked, they will fit you in. There is an outdoor living room and two gazebos, which are closed and heated in winter.
Lined with photos of football players, actors, TV presenters ... they've all eaten here. The pizzas and fish are great, and for lovers of Japanese food, they also have sushi (not available on Sundays).
A typical Neapolitan trattoria near the Piazza Garibaldi. Like any good pizzeria, it offers the classics of Neapolitan cuisine: pasta and pizza, meat and fish. Try the ziti with Neapolitan ragu - really delicious. Opened since 1956, their prices are very reasonable. Closed on Mondays
