Eataly Torino Lingotto
(6)
Within an old martini factory, a supermarket and restaurant complex named Eataly was built. It is a real delight for your four senses, where you can buy authentic delicacies and try pasta, meat, fish, vegetables, pizza, or your wine cellar or beer at several different restaurants. I've told you the way I feel in the title. I hope you like it.

Gelateria La Romana

Any reason to eat ice cream in La Romana is a good one! A true Rimini institution, this is the place to go if you want to celebrate, if you need a pick me up, if you want to meet your friends for a chat...the ice creams are prepared on-site, in the back room, and are always served fresh. It's easy to get torn between the cookie crumbs and the pistachio, the nut and honey yogurt or the marsala...so many great flavours! The prices are decent, and everything is delicious.

Baratti & Milano
(1)
In 1858, Ferdinando Baratti and Edoardo Milano opened this small shop on the Via Dora Grossa (today Garibaldi). Following the extraordinary success of their products, it was extended into a cafe under the arcades of Pizza Castello, and was renovated in 2003. The house specialties are the hot chocolate with cream and the "cremino", conceived in 1934. These delicious pleasures will make you lose track of time completely!

Roma Già Talmone
(1)
One of the most charming parts of Turin to visit are the arches of Via Roma, which is one of the main streets of the city and one of the most beautiful. We wanted to stop and rest our feet after walking and have a coffee somewhere special and walk through the arches. We spotted this restaurant-ice cream parlour named "Già Talmone Rome" through the window. The pies all looked amazing! I ordered a "cafe latte". It seemed really strange to me that I was served with only milk and then they added the coffee later that was already on the table, so the milk was picking up the color gradually, I found it striking and I took a series of photos.

Old Wild West (Area12)
(8)
Close to Juventus Stadium, just outside the Area 12 shopping centre, is the Old Wild West Steak House, part of a chain with locations throughout Italy. Here, you can eat big burgers with generous portions of fries, thick steaks, and delicious desserts, in a Wild West atmosphere. A great alternative to the usual stadium fare.

Gelateria Pepino
In 1939, this ice cream parlour invented the Penguin, the first ice cream on a stick in the world! But the Gelateria Pepino did, in fact, start in 1884. A change of ownership in 1916 led to its development of ice cream, and it became the official supplier of the royal house. The Gelateria has always been innovative, and today it is still dedicated to the development of new specialties. Sitting at one of the tables, you'll feel truly immersed in history.

Steamboat
We couldn't leave Turin without sampling a pizza! We went to the Steamboat restaurant, as the name suggests, it resembles a boat with porthole windows and wooden architecture. The menu is not too reminiscent of the surrounding sea, but more authentic Italy, with very tasty, and not too expensive pizzas that can be shared easily. You can also eat other typical dishes of Italy.

Literally translated as the "concept of business." In fact, in the Spesa alla Spina, located in Via San Tommaso fun, you can buy pasta, rice, wheat, sugar, and all types of products by weight. You open a small valve that releases the product in the bag. Its perfect to save money, eat organic food, and take home a souvenir of Turin!

La Locanda del Sorriso
In Turin, several restaurants were recommended by the tourist office, offering its customers a menu to discover regional gourmet cuisine. La Locanda del Sorriso is one of them. We chose the rabbit, gnocchi with goat cheese and a chocolate cake, among other delicacies. The price is very affordable, with impeccable atmosphere and service, making it an ideal place for an evening of fun.

At the foot of the hill, is an oasis of tranquility where you can have lunch and dinner in peace. The furniture is original, and dates back to 1883 - wooden chairs and tables with a simple but elegant look. The home has a top lounge, and winter garden where you can have lunch in winter or in bad weather. In summer, you can eat outdoors, and you'll have the feeling of being kilometres away from the city's traffic.

Bar Maison

A hearty breakfast bar, a restaurant for an intimate dinner or a quick lunch, a glamorous cocktail bar that runs late into the night ... this is the Bar Maison, an elegant city centre establishment overlooking the Mara Teresa Square in the heart of Turin. Open from 7:30 in the morning until late at night, it has a lively, informal atmosphere, and is at its best in the evening, when it fills up with young people enjoying the selection of cocktails and wines, along with snacks and canapes. Ideal for enjoying the Turin nightlife.

Trattoria della Posta
(2)
Not far from Sass station, the Trattoria della Posta occupies the ground floor of a building reminiscent of the Piedmont houses with its cream facade. It opened in the early nineteenth century, and was an inn with stables next door, where the horses who worked for the postal service stayed. The restaurant is divided into three very comfortable lounges decorated in the old style, with tables for couples, but also for groups. The home cooking is strictly Piedmontese, with noodles and agnlotti with a variety of sauces, stuffed peaches (when in season), and regional wines. The special cheese served with honey mustard is definitely worth a mention! Ideal for Sunday lunch - reservations recommended.
