China Inn is located on the main street of Phuket's Old Town. It's a small restaurant located in a quiet garden in the interior of a historic home. It's a popular place, so if you want to sit outside, be prepared to wait for up to an hour. In the meantime, you can explore the garden and the store selling antiques and Chinese clothing. The food was very good...we ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and tofu and grapefruit salad. Open only at noon Monday - Saturday.
Its a very original cafe-shop on the main street of old Phuket Town, ideal for a well served coffee or a snack, especially at noon in the blazing sun. It has modern decor and sells boxes, bags, and photo frames. I loved the centerpieces, very simple, the top of a pineapple (the leaves) stuck in water, a good idea to copy.
It's easy to find Chino @ Cafe Gallery - just look for the cafe with the red bicycle at the entrance. The cafe with very good bread and pastries, but it also sells textile products (shirts, place mats, etc.) and stationery. It is decorated with wooden tables and cute, cozy chairs. It has wi-fi and photo printing service.
