12 places to eat in Hawaii

Cafés in Hanalei
In the photogenic Hanalei Bay, we make ourselves busy with surfing and even have the occasional spotting of a famous person (we even saw the 007 himself, Pierce Brosnan, having a quiet lunch with his family). We chose the "lanai" Java-Kai porch, to sit down to breakfast with the rich flavor of the pure island coffee. There is with free WiFi and an active bulletin board, to search cars, apartments or other services. If you prefer something more refreshing ... try the smoothies! Pure natural energy.
Restaurants in Kailua-Kona
Fish Hopper
The Fish Hopper Restaurant is located on the main street of Kailua-Kona, Alii Drive. It's opened onto the Pacific Ocean and there is always a delicious breeze blowing through the dining room. This restaurant specializes in seafood, but they have a variety of dishes, both typical island food and international (burgers, pasta, fried eggs, etc.).
Restaurants in Haleiwa
If you happen to go to Haleiwa, I have the perfect place to recommend to eat. The menu is strict: only shrimps and prawns (shrimps). Of all types and colors but prawns. Yes, delicious and locally caught. The originality of the experience is that it is cooked and served in a van and you eat them on wooden tables in the street. And they have been there since 2004, so they do not lack experience. The front easily find McDonalds, on the main road. I encourage you to try them and tell me if you lick your fingers or not.
Restaurants in Hauula
Papa Ole's Kitchen
Papa Ole's is a small restaurant in the village of Hau'ula in Oahu, Hawaii. They have a variety of Hawaiian traditional food, which the Hawaiians call "ono grinds", but the best we had is a chicken that was the most delicious I had ever eaten. It was called "Garlic Chicken" and I highly recommend it. Everything is served with rice and a green salad or salad. They have tables inside and outside, but the best you can do is ask for takeaway and go to the beach across the street to eat.

Ken's Fresh Fish
A typical thing in Hawaii is the road side food, which is one of the best ways to eat local food. This particular spot makes a fish dish that can't be found anywhere else, although many do try to imitate it. They offer two types of fish: (fresh) and Mahi Mahi (goldfish). The battered and served with a secret sauce and it is purely exquisite. You get it all on a plate with rice and salad. You should check this out. It is usually on the beach Hau'ula on Saturday. They also sell "poke" which is a crude species, Hawaiians eat it as a snack or served as a salad.
Restaurants in Honolulu
LuLu's Waikiki
This place offers much more than a very good value for money, also offers an excellent atmosphere, with people interested only in that customers have a good time and not to mention the views ... Beach, palm trees, surf. This open practically all day and offers various activities at night. Highly recommended.
Restaurants in Honolulu
At first glance, this is not your typical Hooters: the atmosphere is quite different and everything has a tropical Hawaiian feel. Aside from that, it's the same old Hooters! The service is fast and friendly and the food is what you expect: big beers, spicy chicken wings, and great key lime pie.

Yard House
The Yard House is for lovers of sports and beer. They have nearly a hundred beers on tap to choose from. The staff is friendly and professional. The place is usually crowded and has a good selection of bar food available, too. During Happy Hour (2:00 to 5:30), many dishes and drinks are half off.

Hamakua Macadamia Nut Co.
Anyone visiting Hawaii has to taste their macadamian nuts. They are incredibly delicious in and in the factory they let you try them till you're full. They have a lot of flavours and also offer nuts and other things typical of the island. There is a small cafe if you want to have a coffee or ice cream while watching how they process these delicious nuts.
Restaurants in Kailua
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
Very nice seaside restaurant. The menu is the same as it is an all the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. franchises, but the quality is good and the prices are fair. It's a must-see for fans of Forrest Gump and the little shop next to the restaurant is the perfect place to buy a souvenir, although their prices are a little high. I recommend the New Orleans-style shrimp.

Country Moon Rising Bakery
To go to Garden Island, you have to go get the "green" plan. You can enjoy nature in all its fullness (even for those who enjoy golf there are 8 private green zones, to play golf) at least, to me, this proves the authenticity of the area I visit. For example, I recommend the delicious organic bread, made with pineapple or macadamia nuts and for cheaper than the cardboard sold in Foodland. If you meet the owner, ask him about the Hawaii song ... tell him you went there, following the tattoo of a cat's paw and enjoy a delicious sandwich!
