We stopped on the way back from the Gorges du Verdon in this town which is the largest in the area. It has a citadel on top of a hill that is best seen from below bottom rather than once you are in it, a cathedral and 4 towers and remains of its ancient wall. It's worth stopping if you are passing through the area.
Located south of the Provençal town of Manosque, the impressive doorway is Romanesque in style and was completed in 1382. The walls have been replaced by homes, and under the canopy you can see two pairs of hands in brass, the symbol of the town.
