Beaches in Porto Seguro
Trancoso Beaches
We had a story about that house .. the day before we envisioned the top of a hill .. half submerged in water .. When we went to the beach the next day we found it and took some pictures. Then we had to cross a small little lake that was formed .. then proceed to other beaches .. In the afternoon when we returned, the the small little lake was now a river! We weren't able to cross until a kind gentleman came and took us over in his boat.
Churches in Porto Seguro
Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Ajuda
After visiting this beautiful church, with its spectacular views, you'll find yourself rethinking your religion! It's one of the best panoramic points that I found in Arraial D'Ajuda. It attracts a daily mix of believers and tourists, and has a beautiful interior and surrounding landscapes, with shops outside with very reasonable prices. During the morning, they set up a cafe in the square outside, and when you arrive, with the colourful colonial architecture, you might feel like you've gone back in time to 1550, the year the church was built!

Arraial d`Ajuda Ferry
The best way to visit Arraial d'Ajuda is undoubtedly across the narrow stretch of sea with the ferry from Porto Seguro, and you get to make the trip in less than 5 minutes. The price of the ferry is R $ 3,00 to go (on the way back you just have to get on the ferry again). During the crossing, you can take photos of the Ilha dos Aqurios and the coast of Porto Seguro.

On my trip to Arraial da Ajuda, I made two trips to Trancoso. First, I went by van to Praia do Espelho and on the way back we stopped in Trancoso. I liked it so much that the next day I decided to walk from Arraial da Ajuda to Trancoso. Very nice.

The Historic Centre of Porto Seguro is high above the city, atop a cliff in a prime position overlooking the sea and the palm trees, and was consecrated a National Monument in 1973. Praia do Parracho
This beach is well on the road to the ferries that connect Arraial d 'Ajuda and Porto Seguro. It is the meeting point for young people looking for the adventure and natural beauty of this region. It is one of the best beaches for windsurfing in the region, and one of the most fashionable places during the week, with several bars offering live music and lots of fun (the most famous is the Sting). The beach is a little more hectic than others, however, there I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets in my life. Super recommended and i'll definitely return.

The beach of Ponta Grande is a paradise with coconut trees and a calm sea, without too many waves. A great place to relax and enjoy yourself - quite popular, but still quiet and romantic. Worth going!

Passarela do Alcool
The name given to this place isn't representative of what it offers, because it doesn't just provide alcohol for its visitors. On the contrary it has options to buy souvenirs, and local crafts, in addition to having many good places to dine, have a drink at the food stalls serving Capetian, and walk with family and friends. The walk is very close to the sea on Discovery Avenue, which still has traditional houses of the region and good weather, and a relaxed atmosphere that attracts thousands of groups of teenagers in search of fun and culture. We must point out that the walkway, and virtually all services in their surroundings work at night.
