It was a trip to one of the most remote and most beautiful places of the earth. This is a nature reserve, and it has been torn apart by the exploitation of oil found in this area known as the Yasuni National Park. There is a campaign to raise money to halt the oil extraction and losing one of the most bio-diverse places in the world. The project is called Yasuni-ITT.
Hi all! Following my trip to Ecuador with the program of the International Solidarity association, I wanted to show you in this corner another unique place in the middle of the Amazon jungle, called Zancudococha Lagoon, a place that you can get to by walking through the jungle and where you can swim during the day, you can also see alligators at night and sleep in a hut in the middle of the jungle!! As I told you, it is a unique experience of the Kichwa indigenous labor and Solidarity Network of Tourism Napo river bank, developed by the International Solidarity hand. Here are some photos that I hope you like and encourage you to visit the place :-)
The best way to experience the jungle is to go there with local guides that can show you its secrets, their corners and show you inside depths to which you would never have come alone. This is what The Lodge offers you. You'll enjoy your tours, night walks, their activities, their wildlife ..... awesome experience. Maybe a night walk in search of crocodiles.
