Régis Najac is a craftsman who has kept up the tradition of a knife that doesn't cut or prick. It was created by Peyrot Vidal at a time when it was forbidden to carry weapons, so he decided to create a rounded tip and blunt knife. Today, it's totally handmade and unique with an ornamental purpose only.
In Najac, one of the most beautiful villages of France, craft businesses are still using old techniques, such as Hubert Baker offering all kinds of traditional breads, like focaccia with orange blossom scent that mixes with the smell of warm bread. White bread, traditional country bread, cakes, marzipan and mouth-watering sweets. Hubert Delmur is also known for kneading bread and baking cakes.
