A few years ago I bought this beach in my little corner of Almeria. A naturist and textile area with lots of sand and Poquita stone - come to relax and have fun. Highly recommended for lovers of naturism and tranquility.
A nice chill and intimate place to have a few drinks, located on the beach of Vera Playazo. They have a great variety of cocktails, although at first glance they may seem expensive. The drinks cost the same as everywhere else, but here you enjoy the great sea views.
That swells to around 60.000 in holiday season. Vera as a town is full of charm and the people are friendly, warm and welcoming. The town itself, whilst small has a large number of amenities, including branches of all the major banks.
Overlooked by a beautiful 16th Century church, the Plaza Mayor is a meeting point. It is the end point if many of the parades that occur - Semana Santa and Moros t Cristianos to name but two. The Plaza Mayor is also flanked by my personal favourite - La Clasica Café. The greatest app lace to sit, eat, drink and watch the world flow around you.
We are not bullfighting, but a visit to a place that made history is always worthwhile. One of the oldest in Spain, built in 1879. Inside there is a small museum, chapel, etc. and at the entrance there is a monument to Spartacus.
Following a massively early start on a relaxing vacation we reached the port of Villaricos and were in search of a different dawn on a hotel beach. After the breakwater there was a small hidden bay facing east where the water was very clean and warm.
A great place to meet, have a drink and sample the food. Karen’s Sports Bar, as the name suggests, screens sports on four TV’s set in and around the bar / dining area. Mainly Soccer but also Golf (well it IS set in a Golf Resort!!).
