    This city is located in the province of Asturias, near the Cantabrian Sea and bordered to the north by the lovely towns of Ribadesella and Parres. What to do in Cangas de Onis?
    Enjoy the beach and have a walk up to the village of Ribadesella. Several things to see in Cangas de Onis in the center of the town are the Church of Santa Cruz, the Palace of Cortés, the Church of Santa Maria or the Roman bridge. Note the famous parish of Covadonga includes the Real Sitio de Covadonga which with the sanctuary is part of the Picos de Europa National Park. This is one of the most interesting places to see in Cangas de Onis. The Monument Covadonga is the most visited attraction in all of Asturias.

    As far as nature is concerned, Asturias is spoiled. Picos de Europa is an extension of the National Park of the Mountain of Covadonga, which is visited each year by thousands of people who marvel at the unique natural landscapes.
