I spent many days and nights in this tiny little town/city as the locals say. It is a typical American town with malls and restaurants and shopping and parks.
There is one aspect of Longmont that makes it stand out from all the rest of Colorado. They house the brewery of Lefthand Brewing Company. Lefthand Brewery is a craft beer brewery, which is something Colorado is known for. It is the most authentic you can get to the true Colorado experience. Colorado is all about skiing and beer. They are obsessions in Colorado. And Lefthand perfects this obsession.
If you love trying craft beer and especially different styles, a trip to Lefthand Brewery is well worth it. Set in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, this little wooden built brewery has tours, events, a stage, and one really great bar. Whether there is snow covering the ground or the sun is as bright as can be, the atmosphere and people in this Brewery are happy and welcoming. It is so much fun to come in and try a few different beers, maybe play a game of "corn hole" on the patio and enjoying everyone's company.
