This butterfly garden is open in the summer months. It is outdoors, but enclosed in netting to contain the butterflies. Butterflies are easy to spot for kids and adults. Picture directories are posted for easy identification. Plants and trees in the enclosure are labeled for identification. Zookeeper are inside the enclosure to answer questions and remind visitors to stay on the paths.
This hole in the wall pub is tucked away pretty well. I am sure most locals would come here regularly but as a foreigner I would've drove right past it!
It is off of Ogden, which is a very busy road, and difficult to spot right away. It looks as if it were an old run down biker bar that was redone. The layout is extremely strange. It reminded me of high school and hanging out with friends in the back porch or garage. With cement floors and random areas of tables, billiards, and open space it was strange figuring out what to do with myself.
The GOOD parts of the place though were in pretty good standing. The beer selection was phenomenal and rare! Local and national breweries a like. There food looked like delicious bar food. Nothing gourmet, but preferable over the hot dog you might get at a dive bar. And there were plenty of people to play pool with. It was a fun time, but I'm not sure I would go out of my way to come back here.
