    Hotels in Uyuni
    Hotel Palacio de Sal
Although no longer used as a hotel, you can still visit it and now it functions as cafe where you can sit on a bench made of salt and put your coffee on a table made of salt. The whole building and hotel furniture are made of salt, something hard to believe until you see it with your own eyes.

    Kotha Kahuana hotel
This small hotel is run by a family that rented some of the rooms in their house, rooms overlooking a small courtyard. The rooms are clean, very nice owners. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet street overlooking the beach and prices defying all competition. On the other hand, we didn't have hot water every day ....

    Colque Tours Hotel
It is in this hotel,at the edge of the salar, where we spend the first night, and dawn comes about 5:30 am which to see the vastness of the Salar is unique and invaluable. The hotel is simple but quite comfortable, especially compared to the second night, which we spent at almost 5000 meters above sea level.

    Hotel Aranjuez Cochabamba
The Hotel Aranjuez is located in the residential area off Queru Queru, which is about four minutes from the centre of the city. It has large terraces and a nice view of the whole surrounding city. It has open-air pools and a garden where you can relax and enjoy the cool fountains and some fresh air. All this luxury comes at a price, though!

    Hotel Portales
This five-star hotel can be found in the main residential area of Cochabamba, about five minutes from the city centre, and ten from the airport. On the outside, it has a simple, colonial-style facade, but the interior is luxurious in rooms, restaurants, bars, and lounges. It has everything to delight luxury lovers.

    El loki Backpackers Hostel
The Loki Backpackers is for those who want to meet people. The hotel which has a billiard room and a large bar, that sometimes works as a club, and a rooftop terrace. The capacity is really impressive and there are a lot of things to do karaoke style. Personally, I'm not a fan of this type of all-inclusive place, but when you stay a week in La Paz, it is always nice to go at least one night to the hostel bar.
    Hotels in Uyuni
    Avenida Hotel
In Uyuni, the starting point for all excursions to the salt mine and the surrounding desert, I stayed at the Hotel Avenida. This is a clean hotel, well run and cheap (rooms with bathroom for 5 €, and without bathroom € 3!). In contrast, the hot water is not available after a certain time.
    Hotels in Copacabana
    Residencial Brisas del Titicaca hotel
For 3€ las Brisas is undoubtedly the best choice for travelers in Copacabana, a traditional hostel, but also part of the Hostelling International network. The rooms are clean and bright, with a private bathroom and some have a terrace overlooking the lake.
    Hotels in Cochabamba
    Alojamiento Punata hotel
This is a small hotel with really sensational prices! The facade isn't too nice, and the facilities aren't the best, but it's got a great location, close to the market, three bus terminals, and the city centre. 20 bolivianos for one person, 30 for two, and 35 for three!
    Hotels in Cochabamba
    Cesar's Plaza hotel
This hotel, in the centre of the city, pampers its customers, offering them the service of travel agencies, artisan and trade offers, and even an art gallery. There are obviously much cheaper hotels in Cochabamba, but if you want luxury and peace, this is a good option.
    Hotels in La Paz
    Hotel Rosario La Paz
My girlfriend, my sister, my friend and I had 2 double rooms here in July. The location is great, the rooms are super clean, and the service is awesome. The rooms do not seem To Have heat, but we were warm enough in the Winter because there was an extra fleece blanket that we found in the closet.
    Hotels in Uyuni
    La Cabaña residence
Private room with shower: 50 bolivianos. 25 bolivianos for a night in a shared bedroom with shower and hot water. A small, colourful guesthouse in the heart of the city. As a bonus, there is a sauna, jacuzzi, and kitchen. They boast of having hot water at all times - something that not all the hostels in the area can offer.
    Hotels in Uyuni
    Hotel Kutimuy
A little hotel where you can have a room for 80 bolivianos a head, including breakfast, but without any other services. Suffice it to say that it's quite expensive - about 10 euros - for Bolivia, even if the prices are much lower than what you'd find in Europe. It's true that it's located in the heart of the city, but the sheer unfriendliness of the staff means that I must recommend that you go elsewhere.
    Hostels in Uyuni
    Hostal Sajama
This is a hostel with modest facilities. You can sleep for 40 bolivianos if you want heating, or 30 bolivianos without. The winter is particularly cold here, so if you do want to risk staying without heating, bring a sleeping bag. If you have a shower, the rate rises to 50 bolivianos. You can stay in similar places more cheaply elsewhere in Uyuni.
