This is a three star hotel located in the heart of Bašcaršija which is great for visiting all the main attractions. The rooms are large and well equipped. The price included a breakfast buffet with a variety of foods in a wonderful dining room. The common areas seemed very nice and especially clean.
Getting to Kotor, a town in Montenegro, we plunged into the bus station with all people who wanted to offer us a room. On one hand it is a nice place because you don't have to go all over the city with a huge backpack to look for hotel in your budget, and it is clean. But on the other hand, there are just so many people surrounding you, fighting to take you to their hostel. They will all lower their prices until it is no longer possible, and then will go so far as to add breakfast, internet, air, scares you! In the end, the board chose Elena, near the North Gate, the North Gate of the city walls. It is quite close to the beach, not in the medieval center, but still you can do everything on foot. This retired couple rented two rooms, in high season we were charged 20 euros per night for a double room, the bathroom is shared with the other room, and a small kitchen with a fridge to prepare the breakfast. The couple was nice but did not speak much English. His house is up, then the rooms have complete independence.
Here, you can open your window and admire the minarets. This hotel is absolutely exceptional from every point of view. It is located opposite the Storto Bridge, overlooking the Radobolja River, with its slow-flowing water. Built in an old stone mill, the interior is wood, with clean and comfortable rooms. Built in 1998, the hotel was renovated in 2006 and 2010, and undoubtedly has one of the best views in the city, close to the Neziraga mosque and the historic centre. There's an excellent restaurant where you can enjoy both meat and local seafood. The staff are friendly and multilingual. Don't miss it.
I was recommended this hostel where you can sleep in a dormitory or a family room. It's in the vicinity of the Seblij fountain, and here you can find some photos of it. Good price, friendly owner, and great location, close to the historic city centre.

This hotel is a great option if you're looking for some peace and quiet. It's located in the district of Visnjik, in the hills surrounding the city (but don't worry: it's low on the hill, so you can reach the historic centre by a ten minute walk). The hotel is great, with clean, spacious rooms. From some of them, you can enjoy a beautiful view over all the rooftops of the city. Breakfast is abundant, and the staff are very friendly (though they don't speak much English, they are excellent at communication). Opposite the hotel is a small cemetery, which might seem jarring, but it's a way of getting used to the unique urban landscape of Sarajevo, where it's normal to find small graveyards between large buildings. During the war, snipers lurked in the hills, shooting people all over the city.
The new Hotel Pellegrino (Mostar) is in a pedestrian area between the Musala town square and the old bridge in the historic centre. 15 apartments of different sizes, a full kitchen and 2 double bedrooms. Located in a modern complex of apartments just built. Nearby there is 24-hour parking.
Velvet Hotel is a small hotel (there are only 4 rooms) that is a phenomenal price and is decorated throughout with bright colors and is very cozy. The owner and his two daughters serve you and make you feel at home. The breakfast is completely homemade and hearty.
In one of the best and most beautiful areas of Trebinje. As well as having a perfect location this hotel is known for its helpful staff who are at your disposal during your stay. Rooms are fully equipped, bright and comfortable. The windows overlook the city, the garden, the sea or countryside.

The Hotel Hum (Ljubuški)is close to tourist attractions. In the rooms there is air conditioning, bathrobes, non-smoking rooms, television and movies, desk, hair dryer and 24 hour room service, executive floor, Bar, laundry and dry cleaning service, meeting rooms and restaurant.
It is in an excellent location 2 mins from the starting point of world war 1 and backing onto a mosque with cemetery and tranquil garden.
However the big attraction is the hamam. If you want to have the full hamam treatment it is wise to book. It is also important to bear in mind there is no mixed bathing, Saturday is ladies day and Sunday is for the men. The historic marble bath area is exquisite.
In addition, make sure to take your time over the rather excellent breakfast.
